I’m Robert Carter, a multi award winning Yorkshire wedding photographer, and Wedding Photographer of the Year 2025 & 2024 (Guild of Photographers). We're based in Barnsley and specialise in natural, Editorial and documentary-style wedding photography. We offer a range of services including Photography, Video, Content Creation and Drone, for weddings. Family and pet photoshoots, as well as Christenings, Proms and Commercial work across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

We have over 20 years experience in the wedding photography industry, and covered over 600 weddings.

With over 20 years experience and more than 600 weddings photographed, he specialises in natural and posed, documentary-style wedding photography across Yorkshire and the UK.

The Guild of photographers is a highly esteemed society with a range of some of the very best photographers as it's members.

Their annual competition is one of the most challenging, as they take your best 24 images from throughout the year, meaning you not only have to show skill, creativity and talent, but also consistency at the highest level over 12 months.

I'm proud to announce that I've been awarded the Wedding Photographer of the Year 2025 as well as being recognised as an International top 5 photographer in the wedding category. This is the second year I've achieved this title, after winning back in 2024 and runner up in 2023. I also achieved my Third Photographers Bar, recognising consistant award winning images throughout a full year.
